Test Shots - September 2021

This is really where I started to find my style. Maybe you can see where I was going with it. I think this photo set is an excellent example of one of my best early attempts at photography in regard to composition and exposure. I’m also so glad I was able to capture the soul of this building before it was renovated and the character was stripped. It used to be a Dillard’s shopping mall, now it’s turned into storage units. Typical for this side of town. While I’m happy the building is at least being used, it’s so sad to see what made this building so special get removed and turned into something that stands with the noise rather than outside of it. But, life moves on.
