Cincinnati Mills Mall

The Cincinnati Mills Mall is one of those things evokes great emotion just by standing inside of it. If i had to think of one word to define this place it would be poignant. It’s awe inducing, and literally a time capsule of the way things used to be. The sad part is even in its prime it was largely underutilized, it was a husk of itself as soon as it opened. 1,500,000 square feet of wasted space. But the beauty of this place comes from a bygone era. All of these photos in particular are throughout my time documenting the building as best as I could. To me, the nostalgia and character of this place is unmatched and I hope it moves you and teleports you to a time long ago that felt more playful, just as it did for me.
