Cincinnati State Demo Reel
This is all of my work from the time I spent attending Cincinnati State. This demo reel shows my experience with audio production, mixing, and mastering, video editing, videography, graphic design, and 2d animation. This shows proficiency is creative programs like the Adobe Suite and Avid Protools. All video projects are cut down to 60 seconds or less due to size restrictions on the website. Full versions can be provided if requested.
Audio Projects
Music Production
Here are some examples at my ability to mix and master music. None of this music is my own, I had received stems for class projects and was told to mix and master each song. The only exception to receiving stems was when we had the band Easy Mark come into the studio at school and recorded three songs for them as a class. After recording, we had to mix and master at least one of those songs for our final project.
The Giving Tree - Audiobook
This was a massive final project in my audio production class. We were required to find/write and edit a script, hire talent, direct, record, edit, and produce a narrative. My group and I decided to go with the children’s book, “The Giving Tree” by Shel Silverstein.
East End Iron Forge - Radio 60
This was one of my three final projects in my audio production class. The objective of this assignment was to fully write a script, hire talent, direct, record, edit, and produce a 60 second radio spot. My group and I decided to create a fictional blacksmithing company hosting a fundraiser.
BMW Store - Radio 60
This was a project in my audio production class. We were tasked with listening through recorded takes of lines based off of a script, edit them down with the our dialogue choices that still fit the script, then add sound design and music to it. When it all comes together it creates a BMW 60 second radio spot.
Superspeed Nation - Radio 30
This project required the entire class in my audio production course. Our goal was to pick a script we liked, voice act in it, edit it to the script, then add sound design and music.
Video Projects
Lincoln Messerly Interview - Singlecam Example
This was my final project in my single camera videography class. I interviewed Lincoln Messerly who I met at a climbing gym. His passion for the sport was contagious and I had to dig deeper on his story. The goal with this project was to direct and produce an interview by writing questions, setting up the set, record video and audio, and edit it all together into a documentary style interview.
Mackenzie Sexton Interview - Multicam Example
This was a project in my multi-camera videography class. In this I interviewed an artist by the name of Mackenzie Sexton. Her primary mediums are painting or drawing. She’s an excellent artist who’s story I had to share. The goal with this project was to direct and produce an interview by writing questions, setting up the set, record video and audio, and edit it all together into a documentary style interview.
Multicam Tutorial Example
This was a project in my multi-camera videography class. The goal with this project was to show knowledge of using a switcher and being able to direct and produce a pre-recorded tutorial.
Travel Commercial Example
This was a project in my second level video editing class. The goal of this project was to produce a travel commercial with provided b-roll. We had to produce a script, record voice acting, and edit it all together.
Promotional Video Example - Andrew Ingram
The goal with this project was to create a promotional video with provided footage from a documentary in my 2nd level video editing class. We had to go through all of the footage and edit it down into a short, digestible promo for whichever individual we chose.
