This event was a bit of a special one for me, it was the first big gathering since the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic. Someone that I watched on YouTube at the time purchased, renovated, and operated out of the old Desoto Speedway in Bradenton Florida. And in April of 2021, the first public event was hosted at this racetrack since being purchased, and I got to be one of the first to check it out. I was super stoked to try my hand at capturing motorsports. Whether that was a full blown race on the track, or a burn-out competition.

My clothes and body were covered in the stench of burning rubber and black grime, there was rubber getting thrown off tires into the crowd, fire, sparks, and exploding engines. Truly one of the coolest and most unique experiences of my life, and I have not experienced anything quite like it since.
